1

Salsa Nights at Palma Central

Our absolute go-to? – (every Tuesday from 7pm onwards)

The vibes are fantastic! There’s a lovely local market, international street food (perfect when your group can’t decide what to eat), plus a live band, a salsa class, and a great little bar. What could be better after a day of diving?

The Mayan Ruins

TULUM MEXICO

History and architecture fans—this one’s for you

Spend a day outdoors exploring the mysterious, ancient Mayan ruins. Perched right by the coast, the site offers stunning views and a fascinating walk through history. Wander through the stone structures and marvel at what these brilliant minds were building and imagining all those centuries ago.

FUN FACT: The Mayan believed that by dressing and acting as a god, they would be overtaken by the god’s spirit and therefore would be able to communicate with him or her.

We recommend going early in the morning before the sun gets too strong—there isn’t much shade, and there’s no food or drink available on-site. The ruins also close relatively early (around 3–4pm), so plan ahead and pack some water!

3

Temazcal at Delek

An authentic spiritual and physical cleanse

The Temazcal is a powerful journey of reconnection to self. This traditional ceremony takes place inside a manmade hut close to the ground, where you’ll be guided through intense heat and steam—similar to a sauna, but with spirituality at the centre of it’s intention.

Your guide, fluent in ancient Mayan language and tradition, leads the group through chants, rituals, and reflections designed to deepen self-awareness. This isn’t for the faint-hearted—it’s a test of both mental and physical strength. But within this sacred space, you’ll find room for release, clarity, and healing. Beyond the emotional and spiritual benefits, it’s also an intense physical detox. If you’re ready to try something new and go deeper on your personal journey, this experience will stay with you.

4

Jam & Band Night at Negro Huitlacoxe

Restuarant & BAR

Not only is this spot an incredible restaurant and bar, but their Monday Night Jams are legendary. A resident band of talented musicians performs their own work, and after that, they open the floor to local and visiting artists to join in for a lively session of improvisation.

After 10pm, the place transforms—dancers, trumpet and saxophone players, violinists, and singers take turns jamming with the band or all together. It’s a fun night, full of talent, plus the cocktails are killer.

5

Snorkeling with Turtles

Visit Akumal – 20 mins north of tulum

Fancy a half-dry day? Akumal is a stunning natural conservation area for turtles and other wildlife, offering a beautiful beach and private park where you can explore at your own pace—or team up with a local guide to find out exactly where the turtles are hanging out.

It’s an amazing experience for families or anyone looking to make their beach day a little more special.

6

Beach Days at Eufemia

Sian Kaan

Soak up the sun!

We know you’ve seen the Pinterest photos, so we don’t need to sell the beach to you. But Eufemia stands out as one of the few places in Tulum with free public access, plus a charming beach café to kick back at with reasonably priced food and drinks.

Sometimes you can catch a live band playing at the mini stage right on the sand. It’s the perfect spot to spend a dry day.

7

Experience the cenotes

Canoes and Zipline through the Cenotes!

Tankah is a stunning cenote park with an exciting variety of activities to experience these crystal-clear freshwater cenotes from unique perspectives. You can paddle a canoe from the deck and glide downstream, taking in the stunning depths and clarity of the cenotes, or if you’re after a thrill, zipline across the park for a high-flying view of the jungle below.

With so much to explore, and the towering jungle around you, it’s an adventure that makes you feel truly immersed in nature.

8

Workshops at La Guarida

Looking for something more wholesome and chill?

La Guarida is a unique spot, loved by local expats, that blends brunch, café, and nightlife all in one. This enchanting building, with its cozy 50’s art deco vibe, offers a different theme in each room, making it feel like a warm and inviting home.

During the day, they host a variety of fun and creative workshops, from painting and pottery to poetry and mosaics. As well as having board games available to play with your coffee buddy. It’s the perfect place for an afternoon of artistic expression while sipping on a delicious cappuccino. And when the sun sets, the atmosphere shifts into a lively and fun night scene. Whether you’re in the mood for creativity or just a relaxing coffee, La Guarida has you covered!

9

Dine Authentic Chinese

Visit Wang’s in Tulum

Loved by all of us at Infinity, Wang serves up cosy, comforting noodle soups and dumplings that hit the spot after a long day in the water. With a simple menu, community-style dining, and big soul-hugging flavours, this hidden gem is our go-to when we need a pick-me-up—or just want to fill our bellies without breaking the bank. Delicious, satisfying, and super affordable.

10

Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve

Sian Kaan

A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We’re finishing off the list with a bang: the Sian Ka’an Reserve. This breathtaking natural wonder is a must-visit near Tulum, offering a rare blend of untouched beauty and rich cultural heritage.

In the language of the Mayan peoples who once called this region home, Sian Ka’an means “Origin of the Sky.” The reserve is made up of lush mangroves, winding marshes, and a vast marine section, and is home to over 300 species of birds, making it a special place to take in the sights and sounds of nature’s best. Yes, it’s on the pricier end of the scale—but trust us, it’s worth every peso.
